We’re excited to host a special networking event, Have Your Cake and Eat It Too, right here at The Gardens on Thursday, February 22nd, from 4:00-5:30PM. In addition to enjoying some sweet treats (which everyone deserves in the middle of winter), visitors will have the chance to meet and mingle with our senior care professionals, including our Executive Director Denise Eleiott and our Health Services Director, Kirsten Eichner, RN.
We hope you’ll join us and find out more about our mission of inspired service—and what we’re doing to make an impact on our residents, their families, and the community we serve. Here’s a little bit about Kirsten, and what she enjoys most about our senior living community.
Kirsten Eichner loves soft molasses cookies because they remind her of her grandmother.
She also loves helping residents make great memories at The Gardens Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care in Springfield. As Health Services Director, Kirsten strives to give “inspired care” each day. For her, that means answering her “call to serve — a passion that is deep within me.”
Making a difference in residents’ lives each day drives Kirsten and the devoted team at The Gardens. Part of Bethesda Senior Living Communities (BSLC), The Gardens’ staff strives to maintain a vibrant and stimulating community with plenty of lifestyle amenities.
At the Gardens, residents benefit from having the right care at the right time. Our assisted living community offers around-the-clock care from a highly skilled team of professionals, who help with everything from medication management to assistance with basic needs such as dressing or bathing. Our memory care center offers specialized activities for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Kirsten, who has been with The Gardens for five years, said she came to work here because of our outstanding reputation. She experienced what you’ll see when you come to visit: happy residents and families. Each person gets the individual attention they need in a faith-based environment.
One of Kirsten’s favorite memories here is getting a resident who was feeling down to visit the Beauty Shop. Kirsten asked her to come and help her pick out a new hairdo. That’s just what it took for the resident to also get the care she needed.
To learn more about The Gardens and visit with Kirsten, come to our upcoming "Have Your Cake and Eat It Too” event. See you there!
